This TH400 Racing transmissions feature a billet aluminum full manual valve body equipped with a transbrake for the ultimate drag racer. They make an excellent choice for serious racers with serious horsepower, torque and weight. The transmissions have a 36-element super drum intermediate sprag, straight cut gear planetaries, performance clutches and Koline steels, high-flow pump, 4.1 aluminum bellhousing, deep aluminum pan and billet aluminum hubs. Intermediate (2nd gear) band has been eliminated so engine braking is a non issue. Built in Southern California by one of the best transmission builders in the industry. This is the ultimate in performance transmissions.
